Cardan crosses are used for cardan shafts. Features of the CV joint:

Adhesion: Most CV joints are rotating, which means they can experience constant shock and torsion, while maintaining the motion transmission characteristics.
Purpose: Cardan joints are often used in power transmission systems where it is necessary to transmit rotational motion between a powerful part of the engine and a shaft that feeds into a transmission or differential.
